A woman in Dallas pulled a gun out near a ticket counter at Dallas Love Field Airport on July 25 and opened fire at the ceiling. She was then shot  by police and arrested. Nobody was hurt in the incident, but TSA still had to evacuate all travelers from the terminals, causing major delays.

Portia Odufuwa, 37, has a lengthy criminal record and has faced charges including arson, robbery, criminal trespass, and false reporting in cities across North Texas.

She also told police that she was “God’s prophet” and married to Chris Brown.

In a June 2021 misdemeanor case, Odufuwa was found incompetent to stand trial and was referred to outpatient mental health services. In that case, she gave the address of Brown’s mansion to the police.

In April 2019, Odufuwa was accused of a bank robbery in Texas after walking into a Bank of America and showing a note demanding an undisclosed amount of money. Customers were evacuated to a safe location and police caught up with Odufuwa as she attempted to flee the scene.

In October 2019, Odufuwa was arrested in Texas when officers responded to a house fire and she told police she intentionally set it ablaze.

“I am God’s prophet, and I need an attorney, but I’m basically letting you all know that I am the cause of this fire,” she told the police, according to court records.
