An 18-year-old was arrested after breaking into a Milwaukee mother’s home and attempting to sexually assault her.

The mother of two said she woke up on Nov. 24 to a man “hovering” over her bed with his gloved hand touching her thigh. The woman declined to be identified

“My 4-month-old and I was [sic] sleeping in the bed so I was pretty freaked out,” the woman said to WISN 12 News.

Prosecutors identified the 18-year-old as Taiwan Watson, and that he told the woman to “shut up and open your f—ing legs.” She then begged Watson not to rape her.

The woman’s 13-year-old walked into the room, and Watson stormed out of the house but left his phone behind. Prosecutors said that Watson’s phone had a video of him breaking into the home and touching himself.

“I’ve never seen this guy a day in my life for him to even feel comfortable to even come in my window, to even record himself like that,” the woman said.

Police later arrested Watson and charged him with burglary and attempted first-degree sexual assault.

“Really take full precaution of what’s going on around you,” the woman said. “Even if you think nobody is watching, there is always somebody in that area that is watching.”
