Fulton County Judge Ural Glanville is catching heat for a leaked conversation
Young Thug (Photo credit: Bang Media) Young Thug (Jeffery Lamar Williams) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Known for his eccentric vocal style and fashion. Young Thug initially released a series of independent mixtapes beginning in 2018. Young Thug was awarded the Grammy Award for Song of the Year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards for his songwriting contributions to "This Is America".

On Jan. 24, a jail call between Young Thug and his girlfriend Mariah the Scientist was leaked on social media. Though people were clowning the conversation between the two, the main issue was how the call got leaked.

The next day, Drake, who has worked with Thug on a plethora of songs throughout his career, called out Fulton County Judge Ural Glanville on his Instagram, saying the leaked call was “disgraceful.”

“This gotta be some form of jail misconduct. You gonna drag this talented man, then not be able to control your employees using his personal business for their own gain,” Drake said. “Somebody benefitted from this video even existing, and that’s shameful … let him come home and continue bringing light to Atlanta.”

“S— is disgraceful,” Drake stated. “Is this a criminal case or [is] Atlanta social media promo, Ural Glanville?”

Meek Mill also made a statement about the leaked call and thinks something should be done about it.

“This [is] a top-tier lawsuit; your personal call [is] not supposed to be on the street,” Mill said.

According to Billboard, a spokesperson for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office said the recording between the couple was not leaked and that Thug is at Cobb County Jail where the call took place. Cobb County Jail told Billboard that the call was not leaked.

“The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office routinely receives and fulfills open records requests of phone calls and video visitations for Jeffrey Williams, also known as Young Thug,” a spokesperson said. “The Sheriff’s Office is obligated under Georgia law (O.C.G.A 50-18-70) to comply with these requests, except for protected communications between him and his legal team or clergy.”
