Chilli Loves Usher “For Ever & Ever”
Although it’s been years since her high profile relationship with singer Usher, a famed TLC singer just couldn’t resist letting her true feelings about her ex show online. Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas was candid on Twitter Monday when she was boldly asked by a fan to comment on her ex beau. ” Do you still love Usher?” wrote the fan, to which Chilli openly responded; “4ever n ever.”
Before her public admission, Chilli gave a scathing interview noting that Usher did the “ultimate no-no” by cheating on her and she would never ever rekindle her romance with him. “Usher did the ultimate no-no to me,” Chilli told radio listeners in 2003. “I will never be with him again, and that is that.” […] “He is so not-cute to me, I don’t ever want to see him again.”
Hmm, maybe he’s since gotten a little better looking, in Chilli’s eyes at least.
Chilli’s ‘confession’ (no pun intended) marks the second time in recent weeks that a female celeb has admitted to loving their ex. Rihanna recently appeared on Oprah’s OWN Next Chapter and admitted to still loving her abusive ex, Chris Brown.
“We’re very, very close friends,” said Rihanna. “We built a trust again and that’s it. We love each other and we probably always will .. .that’s not something you can shut off, if you’ve ever been in love. It’s awkward because I still love him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face.”
Rihanna’s response sparked a brief Twitter feud between her and comedian Joan Rivers who said she should be slapped. The singer retorted that the 79-year-old should “slap on some diapers.” -danielle canada
