June 15, also known as Father’s Day paid tribute to father’s all over the world who have made a difference not only in their children’s lives but in the lives of others as well. It takes a special man to take on the responsibility of not just responding to the name ‘dad’ but stepping up to the plate to be the male role model for their children. Whether it is changing dirty diapers, to pushing them on the swings, to helping with homework, to teaching them how to drive; a father who is present is an awesome sight.
Father’s who go to church show their children that they are the spiritual leader in their household and their children are 85 percent more likely to go to church when they grow up.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:, And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
