Tenika Watson, the transgender woman who was in the Rolls Royce with Teddy Pendergrass during the tragic accident in 1982, which left the singer paralyzed from the chest down, explains what really happened the night of that infamous car crash on the next episode of “Oprah: Where Are They Now?”

Watson, 63, recently published her memoir. Titled, My Life is No Accident, the 177-page ebook on Amazon.com is a first-person account of Watson’s life from childhood to today.


It airs Sunday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m. on OWN.
