Interior designer and TV personality Taniya Nayak has partnered with Wayfair.com to launch Taniya Nayak Lighting, marking the first celebrity collaboration for Wayfair.
Nayak’s lighting line will include chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces and flush mounts.
“I chose lighting that could instantly breathe new life into a room, without having to design or remodel everything from the ground up,” Nayak says.
The lights are moderately priced, pendants start at $50; traditional bronze chandeliers for $75. The more exquisite items cost from $140 to $2,800; there are 200 items in the exclusive line.
“It’s important to find one or two fixtures that can brighten up your space, regardless of your design style, and that’s exactly what the new collection accomplishes,” Nayak adds. “The lighting is very affordable, too, which is most important.”
Wayfair’s Chuck Casto adds that the company hopes to expand Nayak’s line to include furniture and cookware.
“She does her best to infuse bliss into everything she creates,” states Casto, VP of Communications for Wayfair. “The sky’s the limit.”
