Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee brought out city council members and State Representatives at the 2012 Democratic Election Watch Party in Houston. “You’ve done your part by voting and I applaud your dedication to this campaign. You are the voice you are America and you have been heard” said Congresswoman Lee as she addressed the crowd. Generations of all ethnic backgrounds gathered in camaraderie to dance, cheer and join in the festivities as they awaited the polling results.
