It’s been a week since rapper Justin “Yung Teddy” Mitchell was murdered just outside of Atlanta only hours after revealing his life had been threatened. And now a woman has been charged with sending him the fateful death threats.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Yachari Kiyana Miller sent messages to the 23-year-old rapper saying, “You a dead man walking” and “This your year to die” just 24 hours before he was killed.
Just hours after Mitchell tweeted about the death threats, he was found shot dead in his Austell home by police on Jan. 2.
According to the sheriff’s office, Miller has now been charged with one count of terroristic threats and acts, a felony, and has been in the Cobb County Detention Center since Friday, Jan. 4.
Police are currently looking for two suspects in the shooting. The first suspect is a black man between the ages of 20 and 23 with a thin build and about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 in height. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, dark pants and a black beanie hat.
The second suspect is another black man about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 in height. He was last seen wearing a multicolored beanie hat and a navy blue bandanna covering his face.
Anyone with information should call Cobb County police at 770-499-3945.
