Byron Scott has been fired as head coach of the Cavaliers after three seasons and a 64-166 record, The Plain Dealer has confirmed.
Scott, 52, has one year remaining on his contract, estimated to be worth about $4 million. The Cavs picked up the option on his contract before this season started.
