Twenty-two-year-old Rita Ora recently paid a visit to the $1,500-a-night Viva Mayr clinic in Austria, which is commonly described as the world’s toughest fat camp.

Described on the website as a “sophisticated medical diagnostic clinic, it is housed as a modern, five-star hotel.” The Viva clinic overlooks Lake Wörth near the border with Italy and Slovenia. Ora’s description was a tad different as she tweeted a picture on Friday.

During their stay, residents are up by 7:00 a.m. to drink the first of their three liters of filtered water a day. They are also given a special “base powder” containing vitamins and minerals designed to neutralize and boost their metabolism. Among exercising profusely and learning what to eat guests are also taught how to chew their food between 30 and 40 times before swallowing to promote proper digestion.

Mirror.com reported, “Rita wants to get in perfect shape for the summer and her forthcoming promo appearances. This was a last-ditch and extreme measure. Following a detailed examination and fitness test, she was given a rigid diet-and-exercise regime with a few deep-tissue massages thrown in for good measure. The food is mainly boiled potatoes and broths and guests are taught to savor their food.”

Ora isn’t the first celebrity to take on a fat camp to drop some weight. See which other celebs have taken the weight problems to fat camp.
