Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Cuba photos
Beyoncé has released new photos from her controversial anniversary trip to Cuba. The singer, 31, raised eyebrows in April when she and her husband Jay-Z celebrated five years of marriage in the country. The U.S. Trade Embargo with the country has restricted travel to Cuba since the early 1960s. Despite that, the Carters traveled via Academic Arrangements Abroad, an educational company that offers “people to people” group travel to the country. Their anniversary excursion was therefore totally legal.
The twosome visited Havana and stayed at the the Hotel Saratoga. Their traveling entourage of 12 included their mothers Gloria Carter and Tina Knowles. It’s still unclear whether Blue Ivy went abroad.
During their trip, Beyonce wore several fashionable pieces including a Rachel Pally jumpsuit, stylish loafers [as pictured above] and a printed dress from Diane Von Furstenberg’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
A number of fans have also noted in the photos that Beyonce is sporting several loose tops and a closed blazer, possibly to hide a baby bump.
