Kenya Moore’s eviction woes have been the talk of the town for the past week as the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is now being sued by her former landlady for failure to pay rent and breaking the terms of her lease. Alhough she’s already denied her former landlord’s claims, Moore has now taken her response a step further and is countersuing her former landlord.
According to TMZ, Moore claims that Conya Weems-Dillon, her landlady, is lying and that she paid full rent for both the month of May and June. Moore goes on to attack Weems-Dillon’s character, saying that she regularly comes into her six-bedroom, six-bathroom home without warning and that Weems-Dillon came up with the eviction drama to create a story to sell to the tabloids.
Moore is now countersuing for wrongful eviction, slander and emotional distress, claiming that she’s been shunned by some of her friends ever since the eviction story broke.
Clearly Moore needs to worry about both her landlord and the company she keeps. Unfortunately, she’s not the only reality star with home troubles. Check out some other “Real Housewives” who experienced housing issues below. – nicholas robinson
