Uneku Atawodi, the first and only black professional woman polo player, has moved to Atlanta. A native of Abuja, Nigeria, Atawodi made her introduction to Atlanta’s tastemakers in style by hosting a fashion event at Burberry in Atlanta’s posh Lenox Mall. Hors d’oeuvres including smoked chicken and cranberry canapés, delectable desserts, golden bubbly and elderflower cordials were enjoyed at the intimate gathering.

Atawodi used the opportunity to bring awareness to her Ride to Shine charity benefiting African orphans and to enlighten us on the wonderful world of polo.
