Like the name of his aptly titled The Robin Hood Project foundation, The Game really has become the Robin Hood of his, well, Cali hood as he’s made a name for himself and his charitable heart by sharing his wealth with those in need in his West Coast home state. Recently The Game shared another heartwarming charitable moment with the world when he provided $5,000 worth of Christmas gifts to the children of one of his murdered friends.
This weekend, The Game posted an all too touching photo of himself with the seven surviving kids of his slain friend as he took them Christmas shopping and became their own personal Santa Claus for the day.
“Today was a very special day to me. I had the opportunity to play Santa Claus to one of my best friends kids. @cbp_frogg was murdered in Compton California earlier this year and one of the promises I made to myself was to make sure in his absence his seven kids are loved and have the things he would want them to have for as long as I could provide it. With that being said, I called their mothers @tladawn @niecy2braidz & @Mekababii81 and had them bring the kids and meet me at Toys R Us… & when I say we bawled out…. I’m just glad I am in a position to help people when I want to… The smiles on their faces made today everything and more for me. I love these children with all my heart & I want each one of them to know that their Father was a great person that was taken too soon,” The Game wrote on one of the photos.
The Game went on to share how much joy his foundation has brought him and how he is pledging his life to giving back to the world.
“Starting #TheRobinHoodProject in October & helping people was the best thing that could’ve happened for me at this time in my life. It’s my balance & I will continue giving back & helping people as long as my life allows it. Everyone enjoy your day & remember to let the people that you LOVE know it as much as possible because tomorrow is not for everyone,” he said.
As always, we applaud The Game for being so selfless and sharing his time, wealth and heart with those in need, especially those adorable kids during their first Christmas without their father.
