Nicki Minaj is making sure everyone knows she’s back in 2014. The Young Money superstar is working on her upcoming album, The Pink Print, and has released a new track–the first official single– from the project to the public.
“Pills N Potions” is a Dr. Luke-produced, glossy track that features Minaj digitally crooning the hook and delivering rhyme-driven verses. “It feels very uplifting and it feels very soulful,” Minaj told Rap-Up TV. “It’s a great, I feel, indicator of what The Pink Print will feel like in terms of the storyline of that song.”
Nicki has already released teasers for some of the albums other expected tracks, including “Lookin A– N—a”, her remix of Young Thug‘s “Danny Glover”, “Chiraq”, and “Yass Bish!!” She previously hinted that the album’s first single would be released today and kudos to Nicki for staying true to her word.
