My leadership style is participative. I value the opinions and expertise of others. In general, I believe that most people are motivated when they perceive that their insights are a valued part of the process.
What is your mission statement?
Service through entrepreneurship.
What three skill sets are critical for the future executive that you hire for your organization?
Social media marketing, E-commerce and business development.
How does having an advanced degree benefit you and your clients?
I think the training that one receives when pursuing an advanced degree hones his/her ability to think critically and to be a solution oriented decision maker; both are vital to the success of both your business and your clients’ business.
How do you utilize technology to benefit your organization?
Social media has become an integral part of our marketing strategy in order to build awareness of our flagship brand MUMBO® SAUCE, to engage customers and to expand our business network. We are always looking for creative and relevant ways to connect and introduce ourselves on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. If you were giving a graduation speech to college students, what would the title of your speech be and give three reasons why.
“Be Authentic.” God has given each of us unique talents and gifts. We should embrace and develop them rather than comparing ourselves to others. Run your race so that you get your prize.

Anywhere on a beautiful warm beach.
What are you reading and your two favorite books?
I’m currently re-reading Be All You Can Be by John C. Maxwell. My favorite books are the Bible and The Mis-education of the Negro by W.E.B DuBois.
