Chicago area native, Grammy award winning recording artist, and former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams returned home last night (Sept. 4) to celebrate the release of her fourth studio album entitled Journey to Freedom.
Williams arrived to the trendy Angels & Kings nightclub inside the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown Chicago to a packed house swelling with anticipation. The “Say Yes” singer immediately took to the stage to greet the event attendees and preview some tracks from the new album. Williams also told the audience a bit about her upcoming reality show on the Oxygen channel called “Fix My Choir” before taking pictures with the excited partygoers until the close of the event.
Journey To Freedom is set to be released on Sept. 9.
