Police in Seattle are on the lookout for a white woman with shoulder-length blonde hair in her late 20s who is accused of stabbing a man with a needle outside a bar. After the needle attack she told the man, “Welcome to the HIV club.” The woman then fled the scene with a man wearing a baseball cap.

The victim was panic-stricken after the attack and noticed blood on his arm from where he was stabbed. He was treated at a local hospital. It is unknown if he has actually contracted HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Law enforcement officials stated, “We’ve never heard of anything like this in Seattle. … There have been reports of something similar in other cities, but nothing like this here. Hopefully, this is a very isolated incident.”

Police are still looking for the couple responsible for the attack, but are hindered by lack of surveillance video in the area. When police checked for surveillance cameras and found some, the owners stated that they did not work.
