Renowned Chicago-based artist Martha A. Wade recently celebrated her first solo exhibition with an opening night reception at the swanky Galleryna19 in Oak Park, Illinois.

The exhibit, titled “Made of Stardust,” brought out Chicago’s art community and a wide of array of collectors and connoisseurs alike. Featuring compelling images of love and life, the collection serves as a reminder that we’re all connected and capable of the seemingly impossible.

“This body of work  creates a fantasy of humans made from stardust, who uplift our spirits by giving us a glimpse of what people can achieve at their highest potential,” says the self-taught Wade. “The tapestry of famous and everyday people suggests that common grounds exist, where everyone is empowered to fulfill their dreams.”

“Made of Stardust” will be on display through Oct. 11 at Galleryna19 when a closing reception featuring an artist talk and a raffle will be held from 6-10 p.m. Galleryna19 is located at 19 Harrison St. in Oak Park, Illinois.
