Dawn Luke currently serves as managing director of housing finance at the Atlanta Development Authority, dba Invest Atlanta, where she is charged with providing leadership and strategic direction in the successful execution of the housing vision for the authority and the city of Atlanta.
A native of Georgia, Luke has been employed with Invest Atlanta for 16 years. She has managed and operated the multifamily and single family housing bond portfolio of approximately $1.3 billion. She has been instrumental in the implementation of affordable housing programs like the $75 million Housing Opportunity Bond Program and the $8 million BeltLine Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
Luke advises women to, “Stand up for your values, refuse to be a doormat, take full responsibility for your life, reject, the ‘victim role,’ refuse to settle for less than you deserve in life and love, and use your power to speak your mind.”
Luke earned a bachelor’s from Spelman College and an MBA in international business from Georgia State University.
