Linda Goodman is the the CEO and owner of LG Marchezie, a handcrafted jewelry line designed “for every woman, for every man, for every occasion.”

“It’s my desire make pieces for everyone, whether it is for the 21-year-old to 70-year-old,” remarks Goodman at a recent trunk show held at Bill Hallman Studio in Atlanta.

“I have been designing since 2008. It all started after a shopping experience at Bloomingdale’s. I bought a necklace and it didn’t have matching earrings. I went to Michael’s — that’s everyone’s starting point — and I found some plastic beads and made the earrings to match the necklace.”

Next thing you know Goodman was designing jewelry as a hobby and gifting them to family and friends. She continues, “I wore them to work and received a compliment and thought I needed to get into this. I started a hobby of creating pieces and giving them away.”

Nearly seven years later, Goodman has acquired customers such as “Law and Order” star Tamara Tunie, is doing trunk shows in Bloomingdale’s, and sourcing materials from New York and China.

Who is the woman donning LG Marchezie?

“She’s very independent, strong and secure in who she is. She can transition, she can wear a piece to the ballgame in a leather jacket and T-shirt and she can take that same piece and wear it into the boardroom and drinks after work, that’s our woman,” she closes.
