A horrible crime against property and God has occurred in Ferguson the past few days. It is being reported that the church were Mike Brown Sr. attends, The Flood Christian Church, was allegedly burned by the KKK. Brown Sr. had just accepted Christ and was baptized at the church a few weeks ago. The church was targeted because the pastor of the church called for Darren Wilson to be arrested.

The pastor, Rev. Carlton Lee, stated “I was in complete disbelief. I did not believe what I was seeing was fire coming out of the church. I didn’t think that anybody would set a church on fire.” Lee is adamant in stating that it was not protesters who torched the church. The Church was one of many buildings and businesses burned during the unrest. Controversy has arisen because National Guard units were not deployed as promised to protect predominately black businesses. Instead, units were deployed near border areas of Ferguson in a way to keep protesters away from majority white owned businesses per protesters statements.
