“R&B Divas Atlanta” gets the ax.
According to recent reports, it’s a wrap for reality stars Monifah, Meelah, LaTavia and the rest of the “R&B Divas Atlanta” cast.
On Oct. 1, sources claimed that the series was in jeopardy of being canceled. “At the time, TV One’s D’Angela Proctor, senior vice president of programming and production was coy on the matter when pressed for a comment. But last week, TV One’s new president, Brad Siegel made his TV press tour debut at the Television Critics Association in Los Angeles as head of the network and did not present “R&B Divas Atlanta” as one of the returning series,” Always Alist reports.
On Tuesday, cast members of the once record-breaking show were notified of the cancellation.
