It was just last week that Bobby Brown and Cissy Houston revealed that Bobbi Kristina, who has been in a medically induced coma since she nearly drowned in January, finally awoke from her coma. Now, it’s been revealed that Brown is seeking guardianship over his daughter’s estate.
According to 11Alive, Brown has yet to comment on the revelation, but Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother released a statement about Brown’s legal move through her lawyer, David W. Long.
“This is a family matter involving sensitive information. We hope to resolve this in a manner that is respectful of Bobbi Kristina’s sensitive health information. The Houston family has always looked out for the best interest of Bobbi Kristina Brown. The family has done so all of her life and will continue to do so. We trust that others have the same objective,” read the statement.
We hope that this doesn’t turn into a family feud over control of Bobbi Kristina’s estate, but since previous reports have claimed discord between the Houston and Brown families, Brown’s move for guardianship might cause some waves with his daughter’s loved ones.
