The Game caused quite a stir online last week when he posted an extremely revealing #EggplantFriday photo of himself in his underwear on his Instagram page. Since then, fans have been talking nonstop about the thirst trap photo and now Game is explaining in his own words why he decided to get his fans so worked up with the picture.

In case you haven’t seen the racy photo, here’s an edited version of it. For those who want the unedited version, you can find it on his Instagram page.

“Let’s just assume, I thought today was Friday or #ThrowDatA**backThursday #WhoCaresWhatDayItis I say it’s #FineN****Friday because I know you gone be double tappin this mothaf**** til tomorrow anyway,” The Game captioned the photo.

Well, when Game recently showed up at the Casamigos Halloween party this weekend, he spoke with TMZ about the infamous photo and explained that he posted it simply because he’s able and he felt he was, ahem, qualified to do so.

“Everybody ain’t hung. Not everybody can do that, man,” The Game said.

When he was asked if he did it to boost his popularity and album sales, The Game explained that it has nothing to do with his music.

“It’s not even about selling albums anymore. I’m rich and I’m never not gonna be rich,” The Game said.

Well, we definitely weren’t expecting some thoughtful, in-depth explanation of why Game decided to post a picture of his crotch online, but just in case you were wondering, there’s your answer.
