The annual Tux & Chucks charitable fundraising event started out as a birthday party concept. Five years later, it’s still going strong. It has blossomed into one of the must-attend holiday events for young, trendsetting professionals in Detroit.

Tux and Chucks 2015 was easily one of the more fashionable Detroit events of the year. Fashionistas were in rare, but unique form. This year, a common color was black, but we also saw a lot of color, too: reds and blues were the rage. Some event-goers stood out more than others, while some simply went for simple chic.

Women wore some of the most elegant gowns nicely matched with rhinestone-adorned Chuck Taylors. But not all women opted for stylish Chucks with their dresses. They chose to keep it classy and sexy with their stiletto high heels.

The men stepped their suit and tie game up, as well. Of course, some stuck with the theme and sported tailor-made tuxedos, and rocked the hell out of them, too. But some men chose to let their authentic and creative flair be showcased.

Check out some of this year’s most striking and memorable fashions. Some were definitely hot, and some were, well … not. You be the judge. Sound off in the comments section below!.
