2. Saba
Saba is a young rapper/producer from the west side of Chicago. His skillful wordplay and production is an example of how rap can transcend genres and still remain true to the essence. In 2013, Saba was featured on a song with Chance the Rapper with a standout guest verse on the highly acclaimed track “Everybody’s Something.” His most recent project, Comfortzone, is an introspective work that provides some insight into a different side of Black youth in Chicago.
