Lexus made a bold statement during the 2016 NAIAS. In an attempt to appeal to a more stylish consumer, the car brand turned heads with the LC 500.

The two were revealed during a special presentation in which Toyota’s CEO, Akio Toyoda, said the company wanted to get as far away from “boring” as possible. The LC 500 is the antithesis of dull and brings Lexus to the forefront with style, power and luxury. The sports coupe has a sleek design that takes Lexus’ signature spindle grille to the next level.

It will be powered by a 467-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 and 10-speed transmission. The two-door car will not be available until 2017 and will likely have a base price of $100,000. It plans to compete with other luxury sport coupes such as the BMW 6 series and Mercedes-Benz S-class.
