For the first time since Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tragic death in July 2015, Nick Gordon, her former boyfriend, is breaking his silence about the night of her death. In a two-part interview special with Dr. Phil, Gordon got candid about finding an unconscious Brown in a bathtub in her Georgia home, and how eerily similar the situation was to the death of Brown’s beloved mother, Whitney Houston, just three years prior.

“It was literally a nightmare all over again,” said Gordon. “Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney’s last few years on earth as happy as they [c]ould be. I gave them somebody to trust to, to talk to, to be there, someone genuine.”

In March 2015, a troubled Gordon first appeared on the daily talk show where he addressed rumors regarding Brown’s drug use during their relationship. While at the time, Gordon admitted to using drugs with Brown “socially,” he claimed Brown became somewhat dependent on them after Houston died: “At the time, that’s kind of the only way we knew how to deal with what had happened.”

As for what to expect during Gordon’s interview, Dr. Phil tells ET’s Kevin Frazier nothing is off the table. “I ask him straight up, ‘Did you murder Bobbi Kristina? Did you concoct a lethal cocktail that you gave her to end her life?'” he revealed. “There are accusations from this family that he, in fact, was involved in the death of Whitney and I ask him straight up, ‘Did you murder Whitney Houston?’

“We’re going to hear the answers and people are going to be able to judge for themselves the credibility of his answers and explanations.”

In the matter of Gordon’s health, following Brown’s death, Dr. Phil said he thinks “the rehab has worked for him.” Adding, “You know, he looked the best I’ve ever seen him look — he was bright-eyed, he was focused. He looked healthy.”

Part one of Dr. Phil’s interview with Gordon is set to air on Thursday, April 28, with part two following on Friday, April 29. Check your local listings for more information.
