Author James Johnson penned the book, Reincarnation or Invading Someone Else’s Body. Read some of the interesting things he has to say about life and life after death.

What inspired you to write your first book?
I’ve always been interested in writing books. I said to myself if someone else could do it so could I. So, I just put things together from there.

Do you have a specific writing style?
No. I do not have a specific writing style. I’m probably like every other writer. I want the audience that’s reading the book to feel it.

What books have most impacted your life (or life as an author)?
Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich and Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret.

What books are you currently reading? Why this author?
The Secret. I read it daily because it refreshes me on a daily basis on the power and authority that we all have to control our own destiny through the law of attraction. God said in the Book of Genesis, Let there be light. It showed up without hesitation. And, if everyone looks around them light is still here. So the light is in my life daily.

What new authors have piqued your interest?
None so far. But I’m still looking I’m sure someone is out there. I just haven’t found that book yet but I’m sure I will. [There are] a lot of great authors out there now and more to come showing their talent.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything about your latest work?
No. I would not change anything because whatever level of mindset consciousness that I was in at that particular time in my life it was from God for me to be there at that moment.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging about writing or coming up with a concept for your book?
Good question. I definitely did not find anything challenging in writing the book. I just wanted to make sure that my points were getting across to the curious readers were really eye catching. In regard to the concept for this book, everything fell into place. I am really a big thinker. Before I put something out on paper for people to read, I evaluate everything and just live with it and have no regrets.

What was the hardest part of completing this project?
Making sure that everything I wrote was explainable.

What advice would you give other writers?
Be proud and happy about your work no matter what praise report you may get or the backlash you may get, just be proud because it’s your work, not somebody else’s.

Describe the process of getting published.
The process of getting published to me was a little stressful because everybody is saying they offer this and that, or we’re the best come go with us. We will get the readers buying your book. So you just got to have a real open minded about exactly where you’re trying to go with your book and make your decision from there about who can help you get there.

What were the literary, psychological and/or logistical challenges in bringing your work to life?
Laugh out loud. It was not really anything that difficult, in regard to it being psychological, it was more of are the people really going to believe some of this stuff that I put in this book. Remember, I’m a guy that pull spirits from the grave. And allow them to speak through someone’s body or allow it to speak through the body of their loved one. Some people may read that in my book and say to themselves, this is really crazy. But I tell you, meet me in person and I will prove it. And bring it to life.

Everyone’s process for writing is different. Explain yours.
My process is very simple. It’s always about what point and story you’re trying to get across to the audience. That’s probably what would make everybody style different.

What are five of your favorite books and why?
I only have two favorite books. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I’m just stuck there right now.

Please provide three “good to know” facts about you. Be creative. Tell us about your first job or the inspiration behind your writing.
Good question. Three wonderful good things about me are 1) I’m very goal orientated. Once I put my mind to something, I just can’t quit until it’s completed. 2) I’m really strict about treating people fair and paying someone what they are really worth not trying to nickel and dime someone and they have a strong work ethic or gift. I have had it to happen to me. 3) Honesty is the best policy and [being]trustworthy. My first job many years ago I was working at an insulation manufacturing company. Oh God, I will never forget that poor experience. God bless America. The inspiration behind my writing is I was always Interested in reading books since I was a child. I guess eventually I had to write my own.

What is the mission you set out to accomplish with your voice in this book?
My mission is to educate people on Reincarnation, that’s life after death. And there is life after death. A lot of people who die are not at rest they just roam through the spirit realm watching their loved ones live. And in many many cases, they jump in the body of their loved ones and began to live again. Everything I speak in my book I can prove it. The Holy Bible gives a Scripture in there where it says prove all things, and I can prove it.

Who are the authors you reread and why?
Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret because the law of attraction is absolute daily.

A great book has what?
Many, many life-changing words. Things that make you say wow.

You develop character and ideas by …
God up above who sends the blessings down to us for us to share with the world.

Where would you travel if you could to write your next book?
London.

Why is reading a gift?
The gift is educating you, and setting your mind free to think and know that you can be whatever you set your mind on.
