On April 20, Snoop Dogg will make his way to Los Angeles to host a film screening and concert at The Greek Theatre.
Presented by Dutch Masters, the festivities will kick off with the West Coast rap legend debuting his new film, CoolAid, which serves as a visual companion to his latest album of the same title.
CoolAid takes viewers on an autobiographical journey through Snoop’s youth as he navigates life on the gang-infested streets of Long Beach, California, to eventually signing a record deal and becoming one of the biggest stars in rap history.
Throughout the film, songs from Snoop’s latest album coincide with several scenes. Featured songs include “Affiliated,” “Sidepiece” and “Don’t Stop.”
Following the screening, Snoop will host a short Q-and-A session to share his thoughts on the process of creating the film and album.
Snoop will later hit the stage at The Greek Theatre as the headlining act of Mount Kushmore Wellness Retreat tour. Along with Snoop, prominent rap artists such as Method Man and Red Man; Cypress Hill; Lil Uzi Vert; and Wiz Khalifa will perform.
Attendees of the event will have an opportunity to pose with Dutch Masters’ models and get a chance to walk away with swag bags.
The 16-city tour will make its way to Denver on April 23.
