Five kids in Nashville, Tennessee, reportedly will be charged as adults for allegedly killing a country singer.

Roniyah McKnight, 14, Diamond Lewis, 15, and Decorrius Wright, 16, are charged in the murder of 24-year-old country artist Kyle Yorlets. The other two suspected killers, who are 12 and 13 years old, were not identified by authorities due to their ages, according to WZTV.

Police said the youngest suspects stole a pickup truck, which was located in an alley behind Yorlets’ home. The kids allegedly approached Yorlets and demanded that he give them money and the keys to his vehicle. Yorlets gave them his wallet but decided against giving the kids his keys. Afterwards, Yorlets was allegedly shot by one of the kids. The shooter has yet to be identified.

Yorlets was able to stumble into his home and was discovered by his roommate. He eventually died from the gunshot wound.

Police found the suspects in a stolen car at a Walmart, where they allegedly discovered two stolen guns inside the vehicle. Authorities were initially tipped off after the 12-year-old female suspect was reported missing by her family. She posted several videos on her Snapchat that showed her riding in a car with other kids, who had guns.

In Tennessee, a murder conviction can lead to a sentence of life in prison.
