Bravo executives are adding two new cast members to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” including one well-known Black actress.

Garcelle Beauvais, 52, is a Haitian-born model-turned-thespian who is best known to urbanites as Jamie Foxx’s love interest in “The Jamie Foxx Show” and as a rose bearer in Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America.

Sutton Stracke, who is a renowned party planner in the Los Angeles-Beverly Hills metro area, is another addition to RHOBH.

“I am excited and proud to be joining the cast of such a wildly popular and beloved show like the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,'” Beauvais said in a statement. “As a working actor who has been in the industry for some time, it’s exhilarating to have the opportunity to delve into a new chapter in the entertainment spectrum. As the first African-American housewife in the Beverly Hills franchise, I am honored and humbled by this awesome opportunity to exemplify the fact that Black Girl Magic lives and thrives in every zip code!”

According to Hollywood Life, the current cast members were shocked by the last-minute announcement. They learned of the addition of Beauvais’ and Stracke just before they gathered at Kyle Richards’ house to begin filming.

Check out her entire statement Beauvais posted for her 386,900 Instagram followers.
