Jada Pinkett Smith may reprise what may arguably be her most iconic role.

No, she will not be a part of the Set It Off reboot that is rumored to be in negotiations.

Pinkett Smith, who attained fame from roles in iconic shows and films such as “A Different World,” Menace II Society, Jason’s Lyric, The Nutty Professor and Girls Trip, is nearing excavating her role in the mega-blockbuster film franchise The Matrix.

According to Deadline, Pinkett Smith may once again join Keanu Reeves and renew her Niobi character for The Matrix 4.

Pinkett Smith, 46, starred in parts two and three of the phenomenally-successful series, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.

The movies website explained of Pinkett Smith’s role, “she is one of the rebels in the war against the Machines and the Matrix.” In addition to her striking style and bad-a– demeanor, she is also a gifted martial artist.

If it works out, Pinkett Smith will join the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Carrie-Anne Moss and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. No word if Lawrence Fishburne – who had an unforgettable role in the previous films – would be a part of The Matrix sequel.
