What is your creative process in the age of social media?
I’m honestly on all the different channels and outlets. I know a lot of creatives feel when a new social outlet surfaces that there may be somebody else encroaching upon their creative territory or what they do may be antiquated, but it just fires me up. I’m here for the evolution and growth of the culture of artists. I’m only gonna find new ways to express myself on these new mediums. I think we’re still at the very early stages of this new entertainment and content revolution. I love it; I’m along for the ride.
How do you balance being in front and behind the camera?
Some days it’s harder than others. It’s definitely exhausting, but I love it and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m so in love with writing, directing and producing. I love them all equally. And when you have a certain credit vision that you want to see I can make it come to life in the world I create. YouTube helped me learn that the best way to do it, is for you to do it all. Like you to have to have your hands in everything. How its written, produced and edited. I’m going to be exhausted at the end of the day, but it’s gonna make a lot of people laugh and make me happy.
