Name one musical experience that changed your life?
The night I realized music can break up fights and change the whole mood. I was deejaying at a small club/bar. A few people started to get rowdy, and I saw the vibe go down quickly. I mixed in “Between The Sheets” by The Isley Brothers. Instantly, the mood changed. People stopped what they were doing and looked at me, smiling and pointing. The ladies grabbed the guys who were beefing and started to dance. I didn’t say a word. The music did.
What three skills do you feel are critical for any professional DJ?
