The city of Los Angeles plans to celebrate the Los Angeles Lakers legend and his daughter soon. Suburban Orange County, where Bryant and his family lived for the balance of his career, has already declared Aug. 24 as Mamba Day.
Bryant’s career is considered remarkable under any circumstance. He was an 18-time NBA All-Star, was elected to 15 All-NBA Teams and 12 All-NBA Defensive Teams and finished his career as the fourth-leading scorer in NBA history.
