The lyrics from the child rapper include speaking about the importance of her dollar, spending habits, credit score and investing money vs. buying expensive shoes.

After performing the verse for rolling out, Sol gave more background on her career’s purpose.

How long have you been rapping?

I’m not sure, but ever since my dad’s first video came out, we were in the background, me and my siblings. And then we recently came out with a song called “Stand on Business.”

Where can people stream “Stand on Business?”

Everywhere. It’s on Syllabus, it’s a new album.

Do you have anything else coming up?

We have JAR, and new people are coming up on our next album.

What’s the date of release for the next album?

I’m not sure, but I believe it’s in a couple of months.

What is it like to be here at the HOPE Global Forums performing?

It is good. I like doing the songs with my siblings. It’s really fun. And it helps you learn while you’re having fun.

When did your dad start getting you all to start rapping about financial literacy?

Ever since he started the TV app. He wanted to have another way for kids to learn about finance. So he started the album, Syllabus, and we were in the background. My siblings and I were in the background while he was speaking.

What can people do to support?

They can support us by having JAR TV and listening to the Syllabus.

Where do you get JAR TV?

It’s on Roku, Apple TV and Firestick.
