Rachel Lindsay, the first Black bachelorette on ABC’s hit series “The Bachelorette” and her husband, Bryan Abasolo, are separating after four years of marriage, according to The Blast. Abasolo, known to many as a chiropractor and a family man, filed for divorce and is seeking spousal support.

“After more than four years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew,” Abasolo said in an Instagram statement. He requested respect for their family and friends as they navigate this challenging time.

The couple, who fell in love on Season 13 of “The Bachelorette,” have been in the public eye since their televised romance. Lindsay, a media personality and attorney, has not yet commented on the separation.

In a recent post, Lindsay described 2023 as one of the hardest years of her life, sharing the loss of her grandmother in December. It remains unclear whether this was before or after the separation news.

Despite Abasolo’s online popularity as a chiropractor, he’s often been the subject of criticism for his shirtless posts. Lindsay has since turned off comments on her social media platforms.

The couple who once symbolized a fairy-tale romance, have left fans and followers in shock.
