PR Power Up inspires entrepreneurs to focus on branding

Lillie Mae PR’s inaugural PR Power UP Workshop series captivated a room full of business owners and public relations students at the Microsoft Store in Lenox Mall. PR Power Up is a preparatory workshop series for business owners and individuals interested in pursuing public relations as a career. The workshop covers the key elements of successful PR, branding and media initiatives.

The dynamic panel on Nov. 3 featured Tanika Gray of  CNN, Jonathan Landrum of the Associated Press and James Brashears III of Corporate Code. The Nov. 10 edition featured special guest speakers Blayne Alexander of 11Alive, Yvette Caslin of rolling out, lifestyle and beauty writer Kimberly Walker, Greg Cole of Nancy’s Buckhead and James Brashears of Corporate Code. The intimate setting allowed the guest speakers to answer all inquiries from the attendees, including questions about networking, media relations, businesses decisions and more. Workshop host Lillie Mae also shared her expertise and participants were given the opportunity to network with the panelists.

“I am ecstatic that the kickoff for the PR Power Up Workshop series was a success! We had a full room on both days that were extremely engaged with the esteemed panelists. I look forward to continuing the series each quarter,” said workshop host Lillie Mae.
