All week, tabloids have been buzzing that actress Kenya Moore would be replacing Sheree Whitfield on the next season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” And now, the beauty queen has confirmed that she is indeed the latest face of “RHOA.”
Moore confirmed the news to “S2S,” saying that she’d recently been offered a role in the realm of reality TV.
“I’ve had an opportunity recently to be on a reality show,” Kenya said coyly.
And, though Moore says that she despises the way reality shows portray women as “immature” and “petty,” she claims that she is taking the role to give a more positive female face to reality TV.
“I feel like it’s almost like my duty to take the job because it’s the converse of what we’re seeing now,” said Moore.
Though, Kenya wouldn’t specifically name “RHOA” as the show she’s signed on to, she did drop a few obvious hints about her new TV role.
“I can say that it’s an already established franchise,” Moore revealed. “I’m back and forth between Atlanta and L.A … primarily Atlanta. Wink, wink!”
