Before the hoopla reached a crescendo, Trey Songz humbly sat backstage holding court with a gaggle of reporters. “I’m excited to be here in St. Lucia,” he shared, while reclining in a weathered wicker chair. “I want to give the people of St. Lucia a night they won’t forget.”
The memorable part of the night, however, may have happened before Trey Songz even hit the stage. Fans became so anxious for his entrance that they began pressing forward towards the stage until the police had to intervene and control the crowd. The atmosphere was electric as the sea of people passionately screamed, “we want Trey” under the St. Lucian sky.
Would he disappoint?
Absolutely not. From the moment Trey Songz took the stage, the singer delivered a dizzying array of hits, leaving fans both hoarse and thoroughly satisfied.
Members of Trey Songz’s band assembled the following morning for breakfast at the Windjammer Landing Resort. When asked to relive the night before, they all said the same thing: “That was one of the wildest nights ever.”
