Rapper T.I., Greg Street, Demetria McKinney Highlight Rainbow PUSH Conference (Photos)

Rev. Jesse Jackson celebrated his 71st birthday (it was actually on Oct. 8) in high style at the Atlanta Hyatt hotel on Friday, Oct. 12, inviting celebrities, dignitaries and civil rights stalwarts for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Citizen Education Fund’s 13th Annual Creating Opportunity Conference.

Hip hop heavyweight T.I. and wife Tiny came to help honor nationally-renowned radio deejay Greg Street, who was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award during the awards dinner gala. Charles Steele Jr., was bestowed the Trailblazer Award; Hank Stewart was given the Bridge Builder Award, Errin Haines and David Stokes were named the Journalists of the Year; Calvin Vismale, a Morehouse graduate was given the Trade Bureau of the Year trophy; and photographer Clyde Bradley was honored as the Volunteer of the Year.
