Beyoncé’s “XO” video shoot
Beyoncé has once again updated her Tumblr, this time with behind-the-scenes photos from her “XO” video. In the pics, we see the songstress donning cutesy Minnie Mouse ears while laughing on carnival rides with models Jourdan Dunn and Jessica White (below). Other photos show her riding a roller coaster and playing bumper cars.
As previously reported, the “XO” video was shot at NY’s famed Coney Island. And while “XO” is a popular track from her self-titled album, it’s also been blasted by the families of those killed in the Challenger shuttle disaster. In the first six seconds of the song, Beyoncé uses an audio clip of retired NASA public affairs officer Steve Nesbitt.
“Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction,” says Nesbitt. The audi marks the moment the Challenger shuttle exploded 73 seconds after liftoff killing all seven crew members.
She has since been asked to remove Nesbitt’s voice from the track.
