All month long, reports have been flying about the increasingly violent feud between Bobbi Kristina’s husband, Nick Gordon, and a few other members of the Houston family, with admissions from Gordon himself that a fight had occurred between him and Whitney Houston’s nephew. Now, it seems that Whitney’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston, is trying to put a stop to the drama by filing a lawsuit against Gordon.
According to TMZ, Pat, who serves as the executor of the Houston estate, was recently granted a restraining order against Gordon, claiming that she feared for her safety after Gordon made threatening comments about her and the family online.
And Pat certainly has a right to feel threatened as she cited an incident a couple of weeks ago in which Gordon posted photos of his personal gun collection on Twitter and threatened to use them against the family, specifically naming Pat in his threats.
Gordon told TMZ that he was served with the restraining order on Monday but says he “doesn’t give a f—.”
Considering all that’s happened over the past few weeks, we think Pat has done the right thing in trying to protect herself. Although we doubt the drama will die down any time soon in the Houston family, we hope that this diminishes any chance of violence breaking out in the family again. –nicholas robinson
