Chicagoans from across the city came out in droves for the third annual Chicago Westside Music Festival held last weekend in Garfield Park.
Radio personalities Consuella Williams and Kenya Simone hosted the admission-free festival created to bring the city and residents of the Westside a day of food, fun, and entertainment that featured some of Chicago’s best talent including bachata sensation La Obra and songstress Terisa Griffin, along with headliners Brownstone and 112.
Presented by BMO Harris, and produced by Michelle Geddess of M Group Worldwide Inc. and Michael Scott Jr. to celebrate both the Westside community and diversity of Chicago, the event also featured a presentation by Radio Disney, and a book giveaway by the group Acts Of Love, a kids play zone sponsored by the Chicago Park District.
