This past weekend, hip-hop heavyweight and radio personality Big Boy held his epic birthday celebration at the renowned Conga Room in Los Angeles. The star-studded affair, hosted by rapper Ludacris, brought out many of Big Boy’s celebrity friends including Victor Ortiz, Los Angeles Lakers’ Nick Young aka. Swaggy P., Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Clippers, Baron Davis, Tatyana Ali, Shar Jackson, Elise Neal, and Billy Sorrells.
Big Boy is the host of “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” on Power 106 FM Los Angeles. Being with Power 106 since his start in radio, he has dominated the ratings in all of the time slots he has occupied including nights, afternoons, and now mornings. His radio show has continued to grow and is now airing in nationwide syndication on Big Boy Radio Network. The number one rated morning show has led the industry to recognize Big Boy by naming him Personality of the Year four times at the Radio Music Awards and the same honor eight times from Radio and Records magazine. The National Association of Broadcasters has also recognized Big Boy’s exceptional talent with the Marconi Award, a very rare three times.
