Celebrity chef Pat Neely and celebrity stylist Lloyd Boston discuss teaming up with Family Dollar to share good will in preparation for the holiday season.

Pat Neely: Super excited, check out who’s in my kitchen. I got the man Lloyd Boston here. Welcome man, welcome.

Lloyd Boston: Its good to be here. It’s the famous kitchen. I can feel the love and I can smell the food. What is this?

Pat Neely: Listen Lloyd I’m super excited I’ve been baking all day long because later on we are going to the Boys & Girls Club and I thought that it would be really a great treat to share with them some of my delicious desserts so I prepared a chocolate peppermint brownie for the kids

Lloyd Boston: Mmm, I love it now you know first of all it’s matching my sweater so I think we’re on the same page for the holidays. You doing anything else for the kids?

Pat Neely: We’ve got cookies, we’re going to make some hot cocoa super excited because as you know with our partnership with Family Dollar it’s all about give more and spend less and that’s exactly what we’re doing with these treats but the true spirit of the holiday season is actually giving. And to go and spend time with these kids this afternoon, I’m going to be super excited. You are going to have to contain me.

Lloyd Boston: But please you’re going to have to contain me because I’m in his kitchen but also I’m going to bring some style to the Boys and Girls Club with great holiday decorations as well as gifts for these deserving kids. I volunteer regularly teaching art to the kids so I love to kind of help them further the things they love to do and to partner with you and Family Dollar. I thinks it’s a win-win. It’s going to be a fun day and they are going to love this. I think they are going to love this more than the toys. I don’t know about you.

Pat Neely: Well I don’t know, toys stand out and we know Family Dollar has some incredible toys. So I’m super excited glad to have you here in Memphis we’re going to pack up all of our treats, all of the toys and head over to the Boys and Girls Club and you know what were going to give more.

Both: And spend less.

Lloyd Boston: That’s right.

Pat Neely: You know, as you get older, the most rewarding feeling in the world is to be able to give back. So we are getting ready to head over to the Boys and Girls Club. I think the biggest joy I will get is to see the smile on these children faces.

Lloyd Boston: And I love that when you look into the faces of these young people who really want to find something cool to do in life. They are now going to meet a red carpet correspondent, they are going to meet a celebrity chef and we’re going to bring to them not only the tools on how to figure out their own way to do something cool and unique but also give them fun holiday gifts, decorate the club with unique finds from Family Dollar, as well as, cookies, brownies, and all the treats you have to have around the holiday season. It’s all about giving more and spending less.

Children in attendance at Bernal E. Smith Boys and Girls Club in Memphis, Tennessee, received toys and gift cards sponsored by Family Dollar, Boston and Neely.

“This is really all about giving,” Neely said. “When I was told that we were giving back to the Boys and Girls Club in Memphis, that touched my heart. I am from here and this is my community. It warms my heart to come here and help put a smile on the faces of these young kids
