Social media allows celebs to engage their fans on multiple levels. What used to be forbidden is now available for public consumption. On the Tuesday after Valentine’s Day weekend, American-born, U.K.-based singer Sinitta hopped on Twitter to alert fans she was allowing them to experience a surgical procedure live on her Periscope channel. While Periscope is popular for risky behavior, Sinitta took risky to a whole new extreme, allowing fans to watch a live feed of one of the most intimate plastic surgery procedures to date; a vaginoplasty. The reconstructive surgery is a cosmetic procedure for the vaginal canal and its mucous membrane. The 52-year-old singer tweeted, “Please have lunch and get settled to watch two previews of live procedures from my Lab on periscope #BeAmazed #vaginaplasty #eyelidReduction.”
Known for flaunting her sexy body through risqué outfits, Sinitta took the opportunity to show the ultimate skin as she visited with Periscope followers during the procedure performed by her friend, plastic surgeon Vincent Wong. The mother of three explained why she wanted to get the surgery prior to going under anesthesia. “He’s basically going to inject fillers to make everything plump and put everything on the outside back inside again,” Sinitta said.
Wong, of course, supported his friend in her desire to make some minor adjustments on her body. “Sinitta has had three children, she feels things are saggy and baggy and outside and wants to have everything rejuvenated and refreshed. And why not? Power to her. I don’t think it’s painful,” he said.
Sinitta is well known in the U.K. as an ’80s pop star and also had an on-again, off-again relationship with Simon Cowell over the last few years. She also made several appearances on Simon Cowell’s “X Factor.”
